SO. It's been a laborious project, but FINALLY every single one of the one hundred Constellation Coins has been listed and given a page of its own! I've been doing the majority of the coins, but a few people had done several of the coin's pages before I was even a part of this Wikia. I'm also grateful to the person who created the page in the first place so that I had a way to check on wether the coin I was editing had a page of its own or not. It was time-consuming, but it was also fun to learn about the constellations on these coins as I was adding trivia about them. What I usually did was writing the page's content on a seperate document and then transferred it to the coin's page in order to prevent the page crashing before I was finish…

    Mantis Shrimp

    January 30, 2016 by Nocturnalia

What if they added the Peacock Mantis Shrimp in the next game, if there were one? That would be pretty cool, I think, especially if they made it one of the more dangerous creatures, considering how the shrimp can't be kept in aquariums because it will crack the glass. Considering how small the shrimp is, however, what if they added a dangerous creatures mechanic for zoom-mode patches? For instance, stroking a poisonous or spined would take a bit of your air away, or even if they added a health mechanic, or a poison mechanic.

    Dunno, just a thought.

    Stone Monument Legend?

    December 29, 2014 by Nocturnalia

In the first game, there's an Atoll known as Marige Atoll (Mo'ia Atoll in the American version) that has six randomly scattered stone tablets that seem to tell a story. I'm gonna attempt to peice it together as well as I can.

First, the "ancient ones" (whomever they may be) brought flooding to the "white king of the seven tribes". The king fought the flood god with the storm god by his side, proof in hand (a proof is something showing something else to be true). However, that failed, as the flooding continued anyway, compelling the king to give the "white one" a bracelet and order him to follow the prince, and give the "dark one" a gem and order him to follow the princess. The king was defeated, his city was flooded, and so his descendants …

    Green Light?

    December 28, 2014 by Nocturnalia

In Endless Ocean, the legend about Great Aqua Cave states that the only person to survive the palace's flooding was the princess's handmaid, who was lead out by a spectral green light. Now, I noticed that just outside of Mermaid's Grotto, a Green Sea Turtle is floating about. A green sea turtle. Perhaps the sea turtle is the embodiment of the green light that helped the handmaid, or perhaps the turtle was sent by the green light as a representation of itself. In the former situation, what if the green sea turtle were a guardian of sorts, making sure that no-one else got lost in the tunnels? In the latter situation, maybe the green sea turtle was sent by the light for the same reason, or maybe to alert the light if anyone got lost, or perha…

    The Song of Dragons music

    December 28, 2014 by Nocturnalia

The Song of Dragons has GOT to be one of my favorite tunes from a video game, even rivaling the Song of Storms and the Lavender Town theme. I decided to learn it, as I play the piano, and I got the tune from this video . The notes are as follows:

    Dragon Flute: A sharp, A sharp (Octave up), A, D, F

    Singing Dragon: A sharp, G sharp, F, C sharp, D sharp

Okay, this is my own stupid little thing, but I added lyrics so that I could sing it on something other than an ah (I love to sing):

    A#    A#   A     D     F

    Dragons dancing 'round

    A#   G#   F  C#    D#

    Dancing to their song

    A#   A#    A    D    F

    Ancient secrets bound

    A#  G#   F  C# D#

    Buried for so long

    A# A#     A  D  F     A# G#  F C# D#

    Dragon so-o-ong, dragon so-o-ong

    A# A#     A  D  F     A# G#  F C# D…

    Personal Concept

    December 25, 2014 by Nocturnalia

Alright, so in Endless Ocean Blue World, I found the Anomalocaris and Cameroceras side quests pretty gosh-darn fascinating. I think that if a new game is made, the storyline should be perhaps focused more on uncovering previously-extinct behemoths like the aforementioned beasts. Perhaps even the sea-serpent-like Plesiosaur could make an appearance, maybe even be the main focus of the game, but with side quests to uncover more creatures and of course the regular marine encyclopedia. The main locations and landmarks would include the inside of a long-extinct volcano, now underwater of course, a cave system similar to the Mermaid's Castle area in the first game, the usual generic deep-sea scare-your-pants-off area, and many others. Of course …

I am currently playing Endless Ocean, trying to complete the game totally. That means filling in the entire Marine Encyclopedia and all of the Salvage Items, as well as completing the map. I "dropped" playing Blue World so I could do this, and the map system in the first game is very frustrating compared to the one in the second.
