The Leafy Seadragon is a species related to the seahorse that is well-known for its camouflage abilities.
"With branching protrusions all over its body, this creature looks like a piece of seaweed. It lives in seaweed-rich environments like rocky reefs, and survives by mimicking seaweed.
There is a hollow section under the tail of the male leafy seadragon known as a brood pouch. The female lays 150 - 300 eggs in the male's pouch, and the male protects the eggs until they hatch.
Because the male and female look almost identical, it is difficult to tell them apart by sight. But if one of them is carrying eggs, it's definitely the male."
These are found under kelp glows, either solitary or with another of their kind. You can obtain this creature's trivia by taking a picture of it, and it likes food.
